Bagi saya tradisi mengikuti penyeleksian ajang ajang insan perfilman didunia ini 'asyik' hukumnya, dalam satu sisi kita bisa menambah wawasan tentang profil film dalam perebutan piala piala bergengsi tersebut, siapa jagoan juri, siapa jagoan kita atau siapa yang bakal jadi kambing hitam. Disisi yang lain kita akan melihat bahwa semua film yang masuk kedalam daftar tersebut nyatanya ada yang masih terlalu kontroversial dan tidak layak mendapat predikat terbaik disuatu daftar.Justru yang tidak begitu gencar dilirik malah saya anggap sepadan dengan gelar terbaik hanya saja tidak diikuti dengan promosi yang besar.Kita pasti menemukan setiap tahun ketika sebuah ajang prestige seperti halnya Golden Globe yang satu ini mengumumkan daftar calon predikat terbaiknya ada saja satu dua nama yang sangat mengejutkan masuk nominasi bahkan sanggup menang.Termasuk tahun ini.Tengok deh daftarnya secara keseluruhan yang bagi saya menghadirkan kejutan yang membahagiakan dan selalu tidak lepas dengan kesedihan.The King's Speech yang memuncaki daftar perolehan nominasi sebanyak 7 buah tentu menghadirkan senyum tersendiri bagi saya dan tidak masuknya TRUE GRIT disatu nominasipun adalah salah satu kesedihan tertentu.127 Hoursnya Danny Boyle juga tidak dikasih predikat nominator best pictures tapi nasibnya masih lebih bagus ketimbang filmnya Coen Brothers tersebut.
Begitu juga dengan PLEASE GIVE dan EASY A yang selama ini saya pegang sebagai frontrunner best pictures for comedy and musical malah harus terhempas dengan dominasi film film yang lebih populis dan pemasukan tinggi seperti Alice In Wonderland, Red dan The Tourist(saya malah heran RED itu khan ngak komedy komedy amat).
Entahlah mungkin 3 atau 5 tahun yang lalu saya menganggap masuk Golden Globe itu susaaah bukan main karena penjuriannya ketat. sedangkan tahun ini saya anggap semakin mudah saja kog masuk Golden Globe ,tampak dari kualitas film yang dijaring semakin menurun (yang saya tekankan kali ini khusus kategori musikal yang ngeliat daftarnya bikin mata kelilipan) Karena apa? Apakah karena juri jurinya udah bisa dibayar ?
Walaupun Si film Inggris The King's Speech merajai perolehan nominasi namun hembusan terkuat tetaplah datang dari Social Network yang telah meraih pujian melimpah di ajang sana sini. Memang sih secara pribadi saya tidak terlalu memuja muji The Social Network , namun tetaplah filmnya Fincher ini kemungkinan besar menang.
Dan inilah daftar nominasi Golden Globe ke 68 disertai dengan favorite saya sebagai juara (dicetak font besar).Ada beberapa kategori yang masih meraba raba untuk menebak siapa pemenangnya karena minimnya referensi dan juga ada daftar buat insan pertelevisian yang sama sekali tidak tertarik untuk menebaknya (hehehehe)..
