Dua pagelaran Film Festival ternama didunia akhirnya diumumkan. Cannes yang sudah lebih dahulu digelar memberikan kemenangan yang sangat menggembirakan buat sutradara serumpun kita "Apichatpong Weerasethakul" yang memang sudah familiar dimata international. Sutradara yang sudah berlalu lalang dalam membuahkan karya art house itu disambut meriah oleh juri juri Cannes yang diketuai oleh sutradara gotik Tim Burton.Tahun inilah saatnya beliau sudah harus dipertimbangkan oleh juri Hollywood khususnya Ampas yang juga tersiar kabar mendaftarkan "Uncle Bonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives" masuk dalam Oscar Entries.

Nah untuk Venice Film Festival sendiri yang dikomandani Quentine Tarantino dimenangkan oleh "Somewhere"by Sofia Coppola. Kemenangan tersebut jelas membuka jalan film yang paling saya nanti ini semakin mantap.

Hasil lain yang ternyata diluar dugaan Black Swan yang diarahkan oleh Darren Aronofsky tidak berhasil mengantarkan Natalie Portman menjadi best actress.Padahal untuk seorang Aronofsky ia begitu paham bagaimana membuat aktornya tampil diatas rata rata. Lihat saja Mickey Rourke dan Ellen Burstyn yang tidak begitu sulit meraih atensi. Well walau masih terlalu awal menduga duga Natalie Portman tetap saya unggulkan tidak hanya meraih puja puji tapi berbuah piala bergengsi.
Inilah daftar pemenang Cannes dan Venice Film Festival. Harap maklum bila daftar Cannes sudah tidak update lagi lantaran saya berkeinginan menunggu hasil Venice dan mempostnya secara bersamaan.
